BILLIONAIRE businessman Femi Otedola has reacted to his appointment as Chancellor of a private tertiary insititution in Lagos, Augustine University.
He took to his Instagram page to share his excitement. Sharing a screenshot of the news, he wrote: “Honoured to have been appointed Chancellor of Augustine University. Education is the most powerful weapon, which you can use to change the world.”
Three years ago, he donated a N2 billion building to the university’s Engineering Faculty as part of his desire to promote education in Nigeria.
Otedola is the chairman of Geregu Power Plc and he presently has a major investment in First Bank of Nigeria Holdings Plc.
Married to Nana Otedola, the mogul has three daughters and a son.
