Henceforth, Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) in Ekiti, will have their work plans submitted, and scrutinized by the Office of Transformation and Service Delivery (OTSD), before onward submission to the Ministry of Budget, Economic Planning; Performance Management; Ministry of Finance; and the Accountant General’s office.
This was made known during a virtual meeting held on Thursday by OTSD, under the leadership of its Special Adviser/Director General, Dr. John Moyo Ekundayo.
The meeting was a virtual capacity training session on work plan preparation for representatives of MDAs, majorly targeting Ministries’ Champions and Assistants.
Some commissioners, special advisers, director generals, permanent secretaries, executive secretaries, general managers, and other political appointees, participated in the training.

Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji has approved the initiative with the sole objective of streamlining spending of government on targeting the delivery of the six strategic actionable pillars of the incumbent administration in Ekiti.
According to a statement by OTSD, “deviations from the approved work plans by the Office of Transformation and Service Delivery (OTSD) would not be able to access budget or financial provision of the state.”
The virtual meeting comprised three substantive presentations: ‘Goal Setting,’ delivered by Dr. Samuel Moyo Ekundayo (Auckland, New Zealand); ‘Understanding Indicators,’ presented by Mr. Babatunde Ogundiran (Lagos, Nigeria); and ‘Functioning Workplan,’ led by Dr. John Moyo Ekundayo. The facilitators are seasoned professionals with requisite expertise in their respective fields.
The well-attended virtual engagement facilitated interactive question-and-answer sessions with the facilitators doing justice to the questions.
