Osun State Governor Adegboyega Oyetola has appointed the former Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Chief Sunday Akere, who served under ex-governor Rauf Aregbesola, as Special Adviser on Political Matters.
The Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Mrs. Funke Egbemode, made this known in a statement yesterday.
She said the appointment takes effect from October 18.
“Akere, a former commissioner for Information and Strategy, is an alumnus of the University of Ibadan where he obtained a Bachelor of Science. He is also a member of several professional bodies, including the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria and the Civilian Institute of Democratic Administration, Ghana.”
