Oyo State Government Secretariat in Agodi, Ibadan was opened yesterday, but it was deserted.
Workers stayed away from offices for fear of uncertainty.
Although a part of the gate was locked, access into the secretariat was unhindered for humans and vehicles.
Security personnel were stationed at the entrance and other strategic locations around the secretariat.

A police Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) was stationed in front of the exit gate that was shut.
Only the main entrance gate was partly opened. Other entrances were shut.
Nearby banks, business outlets and organisations around the secretariat did not open for business. Automated Teller Machine (ATMs) galleries were deserted.
At press time, there was no indication if the protesters would march to the state secretariat.
