Parthian Partners redeems N10 billion bond

Parthian Partners Limited has announced  redemption of its N10 billion three-year fixed-rate senior unsecured short-term bond. This marks completion of its landmark debt issuance programme launched in August 2022 under FMDQ Securities Exchange’s short-term bond framework.

The bond, issued at a coupon rate of 13.50 per cent and fully subscribed by institutional investors, was the first by an interdealer broker in the capital market. Over its three-year term, it earned praise for timely coupon payments and consistent delivery, reinforcing investor confidence in Parthian’s financial strength and reliability.

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Oluseye Olusoga, said: “We are proud to have fulfilled our obligations to investors. This full repayment demonstrates our financial discipline and commitment to delivering long-term value. We are focused on driving innovation and providing liquidity in Nigeria’s capital markets.”

Parthian’s investment-grade ratings, Bbb (stable outlook) from Agusto & Co and BBB+ (stable outlook) from DataPro reflect its solid capitalisation, growing profitability, and strong ownership support.
