Participants at the on-going sports administration course in Ilorin organized by the Nigeria Olympic Committee have resolved to follow the rules of the game in their different sporting fields.
Participants from Nigeria and a candidate from Cameroon commended the Habu Gumel-led NOC for the eye-opening course that will definitely change their orientation and build a virile team.
The national captain of the Nigeria Amputee Football National Team, Sarafadeen Olalekan Oyeleke, said the course has broadened his scope of reasoning, and it’s now time for him to do the needful and change the focus of Amputee Football, especially in Kwara State and the North Central and Nigeria at large.
Former Falconets Victoria Aidelomon of Jetsky Football Academy in Ikorodu, Lagos State, said the course is an eye-opener, and she’s going to leverage the course to make a difference.
Chief Mrs. Abimbola Olaoye of Olabim Football Academy stressed the need for the NOC to make the course a regular exercise to ensure continuity, while representative Folorunsho Basheer Sakariyauh of Bashmed Academy in Ilorin advocated for the NOC to take the course to all the local government arrears.
Resource persons at the program include Mr. Nweri Emmanuel, Olumide Oyedeji, Dr. Toyin Aluko, Professor Olufunmlayo Dominic, Dr. George Ashiru, Professor Fasan Clement, and former Kwara State Director of Sports, Tunde Kazeem.
The participants commended Lasora Sports Manager, Mr. Bello Lasora-Ola, for facilitating the Olympic Solidarity/Nigeria Olympic Committee Sports Administration course.
