Plateau United head coach, Zachary Baraje has described as rare marketing opportunity for his wards the friendly match against the senior national side, Super Eagles.

“It’s a rare opportunity and privilege to be called upon to engage the senior national team in a friendly match. The players should consider themselves lucky as the rare chance opens a wide window to the bright ones to be spotted by scouts or considered for future national invitations.

“The encounter is not strictly looking for three points but rare talents among the players so I believe they should be mindful enough to leverage on the potential.

“Although we just finished a hectic season I believe we are still good and fit to give Super Eagles the toughest challenge any opposition can offer.

“We understand the purpose of the game to the Eagles as preparatory tie for the World Cup clash against Zambia we will surely provide enough test for them,” said the former El Kanemi Warriors and Enyimba coach to supersport.com.

The Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side will square up against the Eagles in Wednesday’s build-up match at the mainbowl of National Stadium in Abuja.

Eagles are using the clash as build-up for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against the Zambian opposite, Chipolopolo at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola on Sunday.
