The drama over the suspension of Dana Air by Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA ), took a twist for the worst on Thursday as the Murtala Muhammed Airport International Police Command arrested some irate passengers that damaged airline counters and other operational facilities.
The arrest of unspecified number of passengers, a source hinted, was to curtail rage by users of travel facilities.
The source disclosed that infractions by airlines should not be tantamount to destruction of airport facilities.

The source said passengers could ventilate their grievances by filing complaints with the regulatory body using the official window of the Consumer Protection Unit.
A staff of the terminal management company said:” It been confirmed that some unruly passengers damaged properties at Dana Air ticketing counter; forgetting that the property doesn’t belong to Dana.
“The culprits were arrested and handed over to the Police.”
Security has been beefed up around the MMA2 to forestall any attack on the facility by angry passengers.”
