Operatives of the Ogun state police command have arrested two suspected robbers for killing a rider after snatching his motorcycle from him.
The suspects, Hammed Ismail and Osoba Yakubu were apprehended by detectives attached to Sango divisional headquarters on March 15 after one Buhari Saliu reported to them that his 25-years-old son, Yusuf Buhari was missing.
Buhari narrated that his son left home with his motorcycle a day before his body was found lifeless in an uncompleted building at Araromi Village via Ilogbo town, with his motorcycle missing.
The detectives visited the scene where the corpse was evacuated and handed over to the family who insisted on burying him according to his faith.

It was learnt that the Divisional Police Officer, Sango Ota division, Saleh Dahiru, and his team of detectives embarked on the technical and intelligence-based investigation in conjunction with the community vigilante and So-Safe corps, led to the arrest of Ismail Hammed, with the motorcycle of the victim.
The police spokesperson in the state, Abimbola Oyeyemi, who made this known to newsmen on Sunday, said Hameed led them to arrest his accomplice, Osoba Yakubu.
Oyeyemi, a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) said the suspects had confessed to the crime and were helping the police in their investigation.
According to him, the Commissioner of Police, Lanre Bankole, has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspects to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department(SCIID) for discreet investigation.
