Police operatives in Ikorodu, Lagos State have intercepted two commercial buses with registration numbers KMC438YK and KMC394XF loaded with live cartridges, three dismantled motorcycles and some personal effects.

The buses were intercepted on yesterday evening at Poromope Estate, Ijede Road, Ikorodu.

A video posted on social media showed that the suspects identified as Tukur Abdullah, 35, Muazu Telim, 50, and Dahiru Idris, 36, were on their way to Katsina State.

Confirming the arrest, spokesman for the Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, said the suspects and vehicles have been transferred to the command headquarters for further investigation.
