President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended his felicitations to Chief Ajibola Olusanya Ogunshola, former Chairman of PUNCH Nigeria Limited, on his 80th birthday.
Chief Ogunshola, a distinguished Nigerian, has had an illustrious career spanning various fields, including insurance, actuarial science, and media.
He has served as Managing Director of Niger Insurance Plc, Chairman of the Committee of Actuaries advising the United Nations Pension Fund, and Chairman of Alexander Forbes Consulting Actuaries.
He is also a former President of the Newspaper Proprietors’ Association of Nigeria (NPAN) and a fellow of the Nigerian Mathematical Society and the Royal Statistical Society of England.
In a statement issued yesterday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu celebrated Chief Ogunshola’s remarkable achievements and contributions to the nation, hailing him as a true statesman and patriot.

“Chief Ogunshola, a distinguished Nigerian, was, at various times, Managing Director of Niger Insurance Plc; Chairman of the Committee of Actuaries advising the United Nations Pension Fund, and Chairman of Alexander Forbes Consulting Actuaries.

“He is a fellow of the Nigerian Mathematical Society and past fellow of the Royal Statistical Society of England.
“President Tinubu celebrates the Baaroyin of Ibadanland on reaching the venerable age of 80 and commends him for his many accomplishments and contributions to the nation across sectors.
“The President prays for the continued well-being of Chief Ogunshola and his family,” the statement said.
