Three people were crushed to death on Friday by a granite laden truck after losing control of the wheel in Ikirun, the headquarters of Ifelodun Local Government Area of Osun State.
The Nation gathered that the accident occurred around 4:15 pm when a granite-laden truck coming from Offa in Kwara State and heading to Osogbo lost control of the wheel around Emiloju area, along Ikirun-Osogbo express road.

An eyewitness, Dayo Taiwo, said the truck crushed a motorcyclist with his passenger before killing another passerby in the areas.
When contacted, the Osun Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Paul Okpe, confirmed the incident blaming it on dangerous driving.
The incident made the youths of the community to embarked on protest as they threatened to raze the truck and kill the driver.
