RCCG Congress: FRSC promises of free flow of traffic

Mowe Unit Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Oludare Ogunjobi has reiterated the Corps’ commitment to ensuring free-flow of traffic during the ongoing Holy Ghost Congress of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).

He said the Corps has deployed 150 Regular Marshals, 80 Special Marshals, 10 patrol vehicles, one heavy duty towing truck, two ambulances and two power bikes to enable it carry out the duty effectively.

Commander Ogunjobi spoke at a press conference in his office. He said several meetings had been held with major transportation stakeholders to warn drivers against indiscriminate parking along the highway.

The FRSC chief added that the Corps would not allow highway trading, saying road side trading is one of the causes of traffic gridlocks along the corridor.
