A three-day conference tagged: “Lagos International Worship Conference,” organized by the Redeem Christian Church of God (RCCG), commenced on September 23 at The King’s Court, Adeyemo Alakija Street, Victoria Island.
The program was a maiden edition for music ministers.
The church auditorium was filled up with guest ministers from different parts of the world in attendance.
Those in attendance were John Chisom, an American songwriter and producer, Igho Yegbeburu, a composer, songwriter and the President of Glorious Fountain Ministries from Delta State, and Chingtok Ishaku from Zaria.
Others were Ibadan-based Yomi Ajayi, Wale Adenuga from Lagos, Olumide Iyun, also from Lagos and the co- host of the conference, Nathaniel Bassey, who is a songwriter.
Various topics ranging from building and leading a choir, song writing, music ministry and family were discussed at the conference.
The topics were handled by guest ministers present.
The first day was an introductory session, while the second day started with praise and worship which was followed by testimony of Obiora Obiwon, a secular R n B singer- turned a gospel artiste.
Obiwon was accompanied by his beautiful wife Ikechi and members of his band.
“I am enjoying God’s presence in my life and I give Him all the glory,” he stated.
The conference was rounded up on Sunday morning with a worship and thanksgiving service.
