A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ambassador Nurrani Mumuni, has urged President Muhammad Buhari to reconstitute his cabinet without further delay.
This move, according to the former Lagos governorship candidate of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), is with the view to bringing on board fresh blood that can help the president achieve his vision.
In a letter to the Buhari, Mumuni also advised the president to resolve the alleged differences with Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the national leader of APC.
He warned that failure to do this could spell doom for the party.
Part of the letter read: “Permit me to add that you need to engage people of substance that can add quality to this government, because it appears that the agenda of some of the people around you does not conform with your dreams and vision for this country.
“I am making this appeal based on our father-to-son relationship, which has spanned for about two decades and seen both of us contesting on the same political platforms in ANPP and CPC.”
