AHEAD of the March 18, governorship election, the electorate in Rivers State have been urged to vote for the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Sir Siminalayi Fubara, to succeed Governor Nyesom Wike, thereby ensuring continuity for a greater Rivers.
Fubara made the disclosure in his 37-page manifesto with six priorities, including agriculture, economic growth and industrialisation, infrastructure, education, healthcare and security.
He said: “We cannot afford to slow down. If elected, we will sustain the tempo of transformation and take Rivers State to new levels of sustainable peace, security, progress and prosperity. Join the consolidation team for continuity for a greater Rivers State.
“We will build a greater Rivers State that assures equal opportunities and improved wellbeing for all. We will consolidate and continue the New Rivers Vision, through effective, responsive and caring governance, and build a truly inclusive and progressive state, with shared prosperity for the present and future generations.
“The fate and future of Rivers State are in our hands to decide. Vote for the PDP to advance our collective progress and secure the future for the next generation. A vote for Fubara/Odu is a vote for consolidation and continuation of the New Rivers Vision and a greater Rivers State.”
