Filmmaker and Knighthouse music executive, Rogba Arimoro recently took on the task of producing and directing Africa Magic’s flagship arbitration-based reality court show, Judging Matters.
The television show, produced by Tosin Igho’s Remote Productions, is styled after similar international courtroom reality shows, like “Judge Judy” and “The People’s Court” and features Justice Olusola Williams as presiding judge.
The show also features television host and lawyer Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, who serves as host and General Counsel for the litigants.

The show, which has 26 episodes per season, recently wound up production of its fourth season and has fast become a fan favourite across the African continent, working on the premise that real people with real problems, no matter how insignificant, can receive a fair hearing. This concept appeals to the average Nigerian, because the matters that are discussed on the show are issues that people deal with in their everyday lives.
Rogba Arimoro also recently concluded production on another Africa Magic original series, Venge, featuring Uzoamaka Aniunoh, Michelle Dede, Obehi Aburime and others. The 260 episode series earned Rogba Arimoro and Tosin Igho an Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards (AMVCA) for Best Africa Magic Original Drama Series.
