Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has sworn in the newly appointed chairman and commissioners of three critical agencies: Lagos State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), Lagos State Electricity Regulatory Commission and Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC).
The swearing-in was done yesterday at the Banquet Hall in Alausa, Ikeja.
Announcing the development via his official X handle, Sanwo-Olu said the appointments signified a continued commitment to good governance through the deployment of capable hands in strategic institutions across the state.
The governor underscored the importance of these commissions, noting that they play pivotal roles in shaping education, power regulation, and electoral processes.

He wrote: “Today, I swore in the newly appointed chairman and commissioners of three key agencies. These appointments are about putting the right people in place to take on important responsibilities.”
He expressed confidence in the appointees, saying: “I look forward to seeing the impact of their work across the state.”
At the Teaching Service Commission, Mrs Victoria Mopelola Peregrino was sworn in as chairman, alongside Mrs Kafayah Adetokunbo Ajenifuja, Mr Abiodun Bamgboye and Mrs Idowu Abimbola Adeola as commissioners.
