Seven days prayer for Nigeria

President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) Rev Felix Omobude and other clerics will hold a weeklong prayer session for the nation.

The session, with the theme: “Reigning in Life,” will hold at the headquarters of New Covenant Gospel Church, Benin City, Edo State capital.

In a statement, Omobude said social-political issues affecting Nigerians would be “tackled” in prayers.

Speakers will include former President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor; Bishop Mike Okonkwo; Simeon Okah; Dr. Enoch Setima; Dr. Reggies Wenyinka, and Apostle Lawrence Achudume.

The statement reads: “It is our expectation that Nigerians will witness the mighty visitation of God as issues affecting the welfare of this nation will be handled in prayers.

“There shall be a harvest of miracles, signs and wonders. We have God’s assurance that this will happen..”

Abaribe, who is Committee Chairman, on Power, Steel Development & Metallurgy, said the NESG is better placed to lead the drive towards manufacturing of quality products that can compete in local and international markets.

“I believe the expertise of the NESG is needed at this time to support government’s efforts at ensuring that products of international standards are produced here in Nigeria. Our manufacturers need all the assistance they can get to turn things around in terms of better quality of locally manufactured goods,” he said.
