An auto crash has claimed no fewer than seven persons in Kwara State.
The accident was said to have happened on Monday in Ayekale, along Bode-Saadu-Ilorin road.
During the incident, no fewer than twelve persons were also said to have sustained serious injuries.
The accident, it was gathered, was caused by excessive speed and it involved a-19 passenger Toyota Bumper commercial bus.
The plate number of the affected vehicle is ZAR600XY.
Kwara Sector Commander of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Jonathan Owoade confirmed the incident.

He said that the accident occurred around 4am on the ill-fated day.
Owoade said that corpses of the deceased had been deposited at the mortuary, adding that officers and men of the state police command had ferried the injured to the hospital.
The FRSC boss added that items recovered from the victims are in the custody of Bode-Saadu police division.
He urged motorists and passengers to desist from embarking on night journeys, “as fatigue can set in while driving.
“Besides, nobody would want to offer assistance in case of an emergency.”
