Afrobeats superstar Davido has paid tribute to his late mother, Veronica Hailey Imade Adeleke, calling her a “baddie” in a recent Instagram post.
Sharing a picture of his mother in her academic regalia, Davido celebrated her memory and legacy.
Davido wrote: “My mom was a baddie.”
Veronica Adeleke, a lecturer at Babcock University, passed away on March 6, 2003, at 39.

Davido has continued to honor his mother’s memory by naming his two daughters, Imade and Hailey, after her.
