BUDDING Nigerian music act, Shon Nerat has announced his aims to cause ripples on the music scene with his genre of music, Afro Electro Vibe.
Shon, as the 19-year-old is fondly called, says inspiration from genres like Trap, Rap, R&B, Afrobeat, and music acts like Khalid, 6lack, Alpha P, and Rema berthed his genre of music, which is described as Afro Electro Vibe.
The young singer, who was raised by his grandmother in Kaduna before relocating to Jos recorded his first song entitled ‘My Lord,’ in 2017 at age 14.
Speaking on his genre, he said, “I always love to stand out from the crowd with my music, hence my playing and experimenting with various sounds to create something unique for my fans and all good music lovers.”
Currently an undergraduate student at the Plateau State Polytechnic, Shon says he looks forward to feeding fantasies.
In 2021, he got featured on a single entitled “Running” from “De EDEN” EP by Jvson after which he was signed by Positive World Entertainment.
