Soldiers guard school with 4,928 voters

No fewer than five soldiers are guarding the Surajudeen School in Dallimore, Ado-Ekiti.

Unlike many other units where there are little or no voters as of 2pm, the school is still filled with many who are waiting to vote.

There are two polling units in the school – 020 with 2,147 registered voters and 021 with 2,781.

Some of the voters were heard complaining about the slow process. A few of them are getting agitated.

A voter said she had been on queue since morning.

In other units in Ado-Ekiti, electoral officials are waiting for the closing time of 2.30pm to begin counting.
