Soul singer Timi Dakolo has chastised those offering ‘unsolicited’ advice to Afrobeats singer, Davido and fiancée, Chioma Rowland who just lost their son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
He stated that it was not their duty to counsel them especially at this time where they’re broken as a result of deep grief.
Three-year-old Ifeanyi was said to have drowned in a swimming pool on October 31.
It was gathered that the incident happened within Davido’s residence in the Banana Island highbrow of Lagos.
He was said to have been rushed to a hospital in Lekki where he was confirmed dead on arrival.

Since Monday night, the “Stand Strong” singer and fiancée have received prayers from famous people and followers.
On noticing how people had turned to giving advice to the grieving family instead of empathetic behaviours, Dakolo, took to his Instagram page to express displeasure.
He maintained they were doing the opposite by advising Davido and Chef Chi at this time when ought to be offering prayers for them.
The “Great Nation” musician said: “It’s not your duty to advise a grieving person, the timing is wrong. Just pray for them and go your way.”
