Popular stand-up comedian-cum-actor Bovi has pointed out streaming platforms have given Nigerians global relevance.
Bovi, in a chat with Hip Tv, said these streaming platforms accord the creative industry better films, wider reach and most importantly, global release.
“Streaming platforms give us better films and basically a wider reach for our stories to the world.

“You know, because, what these streaming platforms bring to the table is global release; especially if your content is good.
“So, it will make us, local content producers, produce stuff that matches international standard; globally recognised standards.
“So, I mean, it’s no longer a “come and help us” type of situation. It’s “this is what we have, what do you have?” type of situation. And our stories are unique so, you know,” he said.
