Following the Super Falcons’ impressive victory over Australia in the ongoing Women’s World Cup, Big Brother Naija host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu has proposed his four-year-old daughter’s introduction to female football.

In a thrilling match in Brisbane, Nigeria showcased their resilience by coming from a goal down to secure a remarkable 3-2 win against the co-hosts.

During the enthralling encounter in Brisbane, the Matildas took the lead after Emily van Egmond’s goal. However, their advantage was short-lived as Uchenna Kanu equalised just before half-time.

In the second half, the nine-time African champions continued their impressive performance, taking the lead through Osinachi Ohale. Later, Barcelona star and second-half substitute Asisat Oshoala extended the advantage.

In a dramatic end to the match, the Matildas managed to pull one back through Alana Kennedy, but Nigeria held on to secure a memorable victory.

Although, Ebuka had expressed anxiety just before the match, appealing to the Super Falcons to assist him in his plans to launch his daughter officially into women’s football.

The father of two revealed the preschooler in question had in time past bantered with him over women not playing football.

He tweeted: “My 4 year old once argued with me that women don’t play football.

“Now, I don’t know if this is the game to introduce her to female football. Nigeria please.”

With their win, the popular media personality may have just been offered the express ticket to begin his young daughter’s official initiation into female football.

Appreciating the Super Falcons, Ebuka added: “Thank you @NGSuper_Falcons.”
