Akwa United were too strong for the new comer Gabros FC with 1-0 victory over the visitors in a week 4 Glo League match on Sunday.
The promise keepers dominated the game with Gabros FC goalkeeper, Chidiebere Eze was the busier of the two goalkeepers.
The two sides tried to outshine each other with display of beautiful skills to the delight of the spectators at the stadium but both sides retired for the interval on equal team.
The restart of the second half saw coach Zachary Baraje boys regrouping and searching for the first victory.
Substitute Mgbam Chukwujike broke the stalemate with clinical finish to gave his side a deserved victory.
