A support group, Southwest Agenda for Asiwaju, SWAGA 23, is aiming to deliver 15 million votes for the candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC).

The group, led by Senator Dayo Adeyeye, yesterday kicked off campaign for Tinubu in Ifelodun/Boripe/Odo-Otin Federal Constituency in Osun central senatorial district of the State.

Speaking at the event, National Coordinator, SWAGA, Senator Dayo Adeyeye said “Asiwaju is the hope for a new and better Nigeria. A new nation, a nation in which all of the problem we currently experience will disappear by the grace of Almighty God. He’s highly experienced, he has the capacity, ability, intelligence, wherewithal, formation and all that will make things work for Nigeria.”

Similarly, a national officer of SWAGA, Oyetunde Ojo, disclosed that the movement has been strategising to secure up 15million votes for Tinubu.

Traditional rulers in the constituency, numbering about six, led by the Aragbiji of Iragbiji, Oba AbdulRaheed Olabomi, used the opportunity to pray fervently for the victory of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu at the 2023 poll. The Alaagba of Aagba, Oba Rufus Ogunwole admonished that Yoruba must unite to ensure victory for Tinubu because of his capacity to turn around the fortune of country.
