Actor Sylvester Madu has confirmed the viral video, which captured him selling ‘okrika’ at the market, stating it only goes to prove he’s indeed a hardworking father.
While the world commemorated Father’s Day on Sunday, the actor who’s been away from the movie scene took to his Instagram page to celebrate all fathers around the globe, particularly those working hard like he was seen doing in the viral video which he also shared.
Madu explained despite being unwell, he went out in the cold to hustle ‘legitimately’ for his children’s future.
He hailed every male parent striving to ensure they leave an inheritance for their children, referencing the Bible’s verdict on the matter.

He said: “Hello guys! It’s still fathers days. My name is Sylvester Madu and I’m here to wish all the fathers in this whole wide world, Happy Father’s Day.
“You see that video, that man in that video, that’s an epitome of a father who is working hard for his children’s future.
“Yes, that man you see out there, he’s in the cold, he’s wearing that jacket, not feeling too well. But he still has to come out to do something legit for this children’s future. And that’s what I’m doing.
“So for all you fathers out there, working as hard as that man, doing something good for your children’s future; you’re a strong man. And I say Happy Father’s Day to you.
“And like the bible says, a good man leaves an inheritance for his children’s children. God bless you all, chao!”
