Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo & Delta States, Alhaji Daud Makanjuola Akinola, and his wife, Alhaja Mariam Oluwabukola Abeke Daud will be installed as Aare and Yeye Aare of Ibadanland by the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Lekan Balogun, at the monarch’s Alarere, Ibadan residence.
Olubadan in a statement by his Personal Assistant (Media), Oladele Ogunsola, disclosed this in Ibadan on Saturday.
The statement said the new honorary title to be bestowed on Akinola was in recognition of his support and commitment to the growth, progress, and development of Ibadanland.
Oba Balogun said, “The titles are being conferred on the couple in recognition of their numerous contributions to the growth, progress, and development of our land.

“Over the years, they have been known as a very successful business family through which an uncountable number of people have risen.
“Their philanthropic gestures are very noticeable, their being available for every worthy and noble cause of our land and the robust religious leadership provided since the husband’s appointment as the Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta states are some of those things considered in bringing them this additional honour.”
