The lead proprietor of Askia Community Outreach, a non-profit and non-governmental organisation (NGO) outfit, Dr. Abdul Ganiyu Dauda, has embarked on charity services to indigents in the country, irrespective of their tribe or political leanings.
Dauda said he chose to affect the lives of the needy in areas of financial assistance, medical treatment, giving free drugs and other humane assistance to anyone who visits his Lagos office in Ikosi/Isheri Community in Ikosi- Ketu.

Addressing the crowd recently at the unveiling of a fleet of buses/free ride for school children by a member of Lagos State, House of Assembly Kosofe Constituency 2, Hon. Abdul-Wasiu Obafemi Saheed, Dr Dauda said his passion to help the needy is something that comes from within him.
He said right from his school days, he would just give out and assist indigents who came calling for help. The outreach, according to Dr. Dauda, is set apart to propel fund-raising through community partnership in generating resources, while the funds would be dedicated to make tangible impact in the lives of orphans, widows and less-privileged, ensuring they receive attention under the aegis of Community Social Responsibility (C.S.R).
