    Church dedicates permanent secretariat

    •New executives inducted

Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria, Lagos State Chapter, at the weekend unveiled its secretariat, which was facilitated by the philanthropist, Mrs. Abimbola Esther Ajayi.

The edifice, which is located in Ojuelegba-Mushin axis, brought to fruition the over 30-year-old dream of previous leaders of the church for the chapter to have a secretariat.

The church also inducted new members of executives for the chapter who were elected last December.

The event was attended by clerics, dignitaries, and members of the church within and outside the state.

The re-elected Chairman of the chapter, Special Apostle Segun Adio, expressed  gratitude to God for allowing the chapter to witness such a significant moment, adding that he felt fulfilled to have continued on the solid foundation laid by his forebears.

He pledged renewed vigour to further the progress and unity of the chapter, which he described as the most strategic in the unification church.

Adio highlighted the 40-year struggle of the chapter to secure a home. During that time, the chapter was hosted by the C&S (Oke Iye) Society at Cemetery Street, Ebute Metta.

The breakthrough, he noted, came through the benevolence of Rev. Mother Abimbola Esther Ajayi, the Founder of Love of Christ Generation Church, who financed the construction of the secretariat.

He praised her as a “woman of inestimable virtue” whose name will be etched in gold in the history of the chapter.

“We are hugely indebted to you for this wonderful gift. Where the history of this chapter is written, it is crystal clear that your name will be in 18 carat gold,” Adio said of Mrs. Ajayi.

The chairman reiterated the administration’s commitment to developmental initiatives that would uplift the body of Christ in Lagos, while aligning with the vision of the National Executive Council.
