The FA chairman of FCT, Adam Muktar Mohammed, his Lagos counterpart Fouad Oki as well as that of Sokoto Nasiru Saidu is among the officials attending the World Football Summit in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The leadership of the NPFL led by Gbenga Elegbeleye is also at the event, which has brought together as many as 1,500 decision makers of the sport around the world.
Attendees have the opportunity to accelerate business growth through strategic networking and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Speaking from the summit which coincided with the on-going FIFA Club World Cup, Mohammed praised the Saudi Arabia authorities for making the nation the leading hub in global sports, adding that the decision is helping to grow the country’s GDP with more tourists now heading to the Middle East country.
“Saudi Arabia took a conscious decision by dreaming big. Their aspiration is to establish themselves as the leading force in global sports. They have realized the power of sports especially football.
“Saudis are attracting more tourists and this will grow their GDP and there will be bigger investment. Everybody has taken notice of it and a lot of talents are moving to Saudi Arabia now. It is a great move and it will give other nations the inspiration to do the same,” he added.
