    Adamimogo FM begins operation in Ekiti

    The Planter of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Grace Of Mercy Prayer Mountain World-wide, Prophet Sam Olu Alo has felicitated with Ekiti Governor Biodun Oyebanji on his Governor of the Year award. 

    The cleric acknowledged Oyebanji’s tested integrity as well as immense leadership and development strides in Ekiti State.

    Oyebanji bagged the Governor of the Year 2023 (Community Development) award of the Independent Newspaper last Sunday in Lagos.

    The cleric, also announced commencement of Adamimogo 107.1FM, Ido-Ekiti from Thursday, May 9 while the dedication of the station will hold on Saturday, May 25, 2024.

    A statement by Toyin Anisulowo-led Adamimogo Media Support Group on behalf of Olu Alo, commended Oyebanji for road construction, rehabilitation, workers welfare, and empowerment. 

    The Chief Operating Officer of Adamimogo Communications Limited, Mr. Babatunde Bamigboye (aka Omo Edema) assured Adamimogo 107.1FM, Ido-Ekiti, will bring quality programmes tailored for the yearnings of radio listeners in Ekiti and beyond. 

    Bamigboye said: “We aim to provide enriching content that caters to the diverse tastes and interests of our listeners. We want to connect with our audience on a meaningful level and offer them the best in radio entertainment and information.”

    The traditional rulers of Ido Ekiti, the Olojudo of Ido Ekiti, Oba Ayorinde Ilori-Faboro thanked Prophet Olu-Alo for establishing, the radio station in the town, which is Olu-Alo’s ancestral home.

    The monarch said: “This radio station is sited within the vicinity of the Oba’s palace. Whatever we are doing will easily get to  you. Our son who has done this for us, who is God sent, Prophet Sam Olu-Alo, God will continue to bless him and his star will continue to shine. 

    “Our prayers is that God will continue to raise children like him in this country. God will make him good example to all other Ekiti children to always come home and give back to and develop their communities.  As he is developing his home town and assisting the people. On behalf of sons and daughters of Ido-Ekiti and Ekiti state in general, I thank you.”

    Veteran broadcast journalist, Mr Layi Oyawa, who has been appointed as the General Manager of the new radio  station, praised Prophet Olu-Alo for always coming to the aid of the vulnerable. 

    Adamimogo 107.1FM, Ido-Ekiti is the third in the radio franchise of Adamimogo Communications Limited, which already operates two radio stations – Adamimogo 93.1FM in Lekki, Lagos and Adamimogo 105.1FM in Ibadan, Oyo State.

    FG seeks collaboration on job creation as Adamimogo FM berths in Ibadan

    President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Federal Government-led administration has urged Nigerians, particularly religious leaders, to join hands with government to eradicate poverty and create employment for teeming youths of the country.

    The government said there is need for informal sector operators to get involved in job creation because government alone cannot tackle unemployment across the nation.

    Speaking in Ibadan at the inauguration and dedication of the Adamimogo House, which housed the Adamimogo 105.1 FM, The Light Hotel and Event Centre, established by Prophet Sam Olu Alo, the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Barr. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha said the cleric has demonstrated though spiritual matters are very important, physical matter must be added to it.

    Emphasising importance of private sector in job creation, the Minister said: “We have seen one of, someone who is into private practice and doing this, and that is why I have come to throw my weight and support to him to encourage people.

    “Government cannot do it alone, we are calling on private sector to embark on this kind of thing. The truth of the matter is that, even when talking about salary and  paid jobs, people need to work, they have to be skilled.

    “With the event centre, the guest house and the Radio station, a lot of people would be employed. So, as a person sitting on the office of Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment I am involved and excited that he is adding to my mandate of ensuring that we create employment for our people and reduce poverty.

    “Under the ministry of labour and employment,  skills and we have offices in 36 states including FCT where the people are going to be trained and empowered and not just for training sake, we look at what is viable so that , people trained will not go back to poverty, they will be really employed and empowered.

    “Testimonies abound about people he has empowered not just in Ibadan but also in Ekiti, Akure, Abeokuta Lagos and other parts of Nigeria as well as outside the country. What again can I say than to say kudos and he should keep doing what he has been doing and it is worthy of emulation by his colleagues.”

    Alo urged government to always encourage young people into entrepreneurship, trades vocations and with various skilled acquired with incentives that will make such attractive to them and remain on the job.

    The cleric, who said he was happy because God is using his life to lift others most especially at this time when the country is sick economically, urged Nigerians to lift up others with those thing God has blessed them with.

    “I want to our government to always try to learn from other countries. Like in Turkey, I was there recently. It was gathered that, their youths also are not ready to learn trades and vocations but the government there did some things which I witnessed to encourage the youths of the country.

    Describing youths as brave and intelligent, he called on the government to introduce some trades and vocations including farming and ensure they are buying the products from them to encourage them.

    “There is no support and encouragement from government for small scale farmers. Government should be buying their farm produces, there would be no loss and so the farmers would be encouraged the more. This is what they do in the developed countries,” he said.

    The planter of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC ) Goshen Land District Headquarters, Ilorin, Kwara State and Worldwide, Pastor Femi Fadiro (aka Anu Yanju E) said  vision can come to reality with faith.

    “What Prophet Olu Alo has done or doing is the realisation of his vision which God backed him to achieve. If God sees one as somebody that can move the nation forward and lift people up, God will continue to assist  such a person with his vision,” he stated.

    Chairman of Ekiti State Council of Traditional Rulers, the Olojudo of Ido-Ekiti, Oba Ayorinde Ilori-Faboro described the cleric as one of the great stars in Ido-Ekiti.

    Chairman, Fresh FM Nigeria, Dr Yinka Ayefele commended the man of God for establishing the radio station and a way of providing jobs for the teeming unemployed youths in the country..

    He said:”You are a successful clergyman but you taught it wise that it is very essential for anyone blessed by God to you his or her God given resources to lift, bless and impact the life of others. This is exactly what you have done today.”

    Adamimogo FC:  Cleric counsels aspiring footballers on nation building 

    Prophet Sam Olu Alo of  the  Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Adamimogo Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain Worldwide, is hopeful that big football clubs in Europe and America would soon scout for players from  his Akure-based  Adamimogo Football Club.

    Speaking after his sides’ took on the  Immigration Football Club of Ado Ekiti at  his Ido Ekiti country home, headquarters of Ido-Osi Local Government Area of Ekiti State, the  cleric urged Nigerian youths to take advantage of their talents in sports to develop and earn careers for themselves.

    He  also counselled the youths to always contribute their quotas to the development of their people, communities and the nation, adding that the government alone cannot meet the numerous needs of the people and provide all  the required infrastructure in every  community.

     “I am happy that they (Adamimogo Football Club) did very well in the last season of National League One (NLO),” he said.“ My advice for the players to be hardworking and focused.

     “I have promised the players and the team management  that in the next few months, some football scouts will be coming from Europe to get the talented ones among them.

     “ So,  they should see football as a profession just like Okocha, Ronaldo and Messi of this world , in order for them to excel.”

    Olu-Alo recently donated blocks of classrooms to Temidire Community High School, Temidire Ekiti and St. Benedict’s Catholic Nur/Pry School Ido Ekiti, a big event  hall christened Ilike Family Hall to his community, Ido Ekiti  and a maternity home to a church in memory of his late father  even as he promised to establish a care home for widows and less privileged persons.

    He  said he was doing these  for the love of God and for humanity: “Youth empowerment through sports like Adamimogo FC , scholarship, vocational training and provision of working tools for those who had learned one trade or the other.

    “As we are being blessed by God, one can also assist in the area of education, health and others.

     “Health facilities, classrooms, and libraries could be built in all these communities, if put in place, the lives of our people will be positively affected.

    “I am always happy because Adamimogo FC is doing well beyond my expectations.

    “Not up to a year that we assembled the team but  3SC of Ibadan  has signed up one of them; it means  the players of the Adamimogo FC have a bright future,” he added.
