    Adejobi was elevated from Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), a recognition of his outstanding service and unwavering dedication to the Nigerian Police Force.

    In a celebratory post on his Instagram page, Johnson hailed the police spokesperson and prayed for continued progress in his career.

    Actor Adeniyi Johnson has recounted how he narrowly escaped a robbery attempt in Lagos after three armed men surrounded his vehicle and tried to break the windshield and remove the side mirrors.

    Narrating the incident, Johnson said it occurred when he was forced to manoeuvre around two trailers that were occupying the entire road.

    In a post on Instagram, Johnson credited his quick thinking and alertness for saving him from potential danger.

    “Story time again. Lagos needs better security than those stop and search that ask oga how the weekend is, anything for us. Got back to the country, I mean my country, and na robbery dem take welcome me, imagine o.

    “Thank God for smartness and alertness! If not, the attached video would have been worse! It all happened within 15 seconds. I heard a big bang on my windshield, and the next thing I saw were 3 thugs all over my car.

    “Trust me, they were more, but that was all my eyes, out of fear, could count! 1 on the driver’s side and 2 on the other side. From both sides I heard ‘yo mirror e’ (remove the mirror) and the other side ‘fo glass e’ (break the windshield). All these happened because of two ‘mumu’ trailers with smoke occupying the whole road and not driving on their lanes! While looking for a way to manoeuvre and overtake, I fell victim. This happened after Alapere,” he wrote.

    He shared a video of the damage to his car and warned others to be cautious, especially in areas prone to such incidents.

    He added that this is the second encounter with a robbery attempt this year, with the first incident occurring in April.

    He advised people to stay vigilant while driving in Lagos and expressed gratitude for his safety.

    “Once you descend from the third mainland bridge and approach the secretariat before Magodo. Guys, please stay woke and be safe. The only damage done is to the last slide. God is God. Ekule o.

    “I forgot to mention this is the second time I’m experiencing this. The first time was April, around 7:15 pm. Today’s own was around 11 pm. God keep keeping us,” he added.

    Actor Adeniyi Johnson has opened up about his decade-long wait to become a father.

    In an interview with Kunle Afod, Johnson shared his emotional journey, which spanned two marriages and countless years of prayer and perseverance.

    After a three-year wait for a child in his previous marriage, Adeniyi married Oluwaseyi Edun in 2018.

    Together, they spent seven years seeking God’s blessing for a child.

    Their patience was finally rewarded in February 2023 when they welcomed a set of twins, a boy and a girl.

    Adeniyi credited his faith and patience for helping him navigate the challenging period.

    He said: “The vigil was much. But we thank God that what one has been crying over God turned it into joy. It is a cry of 10 years. I waited for 10 years. Myself and the mother of the twins have been seeking God’s face for a child for seven years. And when it came, God said he wanted to gift me with twins. What do I do?” he said.

    “Whenever I am at home, and I see them climbing on top of me, I am always very happy. I would say thank you, God. Other people buy diapers for one child for us we buy two. We bless God for provision. They also eat well.

    “We did not allow age to tell on us. And we thank God we do not look like what we have passed through.”

    AFRIMEK suspends Adeniyi Johnson indefinitely

    The African Men Entertainment Kings (AFRIMEK) has indefinitely suspended actor, Adeniyi Johnson, from the club due to gross misconduct and breach of the club’s constitution.

    The announcement was made on AFRIMEK’s official Instagram page, stating that Johnson has no right to portray himself as a member, saying that he is barred from participating in club activities.

    “Adeniyi Johnson is hereby suspended indefinitely from the club (AFRIMEK). He has no right to portray himself as a member and abstain from the club activities. This decision is borne out of their gross misconduct and breach of the club’s constitution”, the statement reads.

    As a former Public Relations Officer of AFRIMEK, Johnson’s suspension comes as a surprise to many in the entertainment industry as well as fans.

    The club, known for its influential members, has taken a strong stance against misconduct, upholding the values and principles of the organisation.

    Reacting, in a terse statement, Johnson shared that his affiliation with Afrimek has not been fruitful, that he was bullied, and that his means of livelihood were under threat.

    The actor noted that the group’s suspension caused him to lose an N5m deal, and it was beginning to seem like a hatchet plan to destroy his brand and status in the movie industry.

    The troll had asked in the comment section of one of his posts if he had conducted a DNA test.
