Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Musibau Adetunbi has been saddled with the task of leading the team to plan the next Annual General Conference (AGC) of the Muslim Lawyers Association of Nigeria (MULAN).
Adetunbi’s appointment as the Chairman of the 15-member Conference Planning Committee (CPC) for MULAN 2024 AGC was conveyed in a letter, dated October 18 signed by the association’s National President, Dr. Kazeem Olaniyan and National Secretary General, Isah Nalaraba.
“Sir, this appointment is in realisation of your sterling qualities and rich expert which you have brought to bear in every assignment that concerns Islam and MULAN.
“It is, therefore, the expectations of NEC that you will bring experiences to bear in this very important assignment,” part of the letter reads.
The CPC, along with the conference Local Organising Committee (LOC), chaired by Mutalubi Ojo (SAN) were formally inaugurated on October 28 at event presided over by Olaniyan.

The MULAN President, in his address highlighted the importance of the inauguration of the CPC/LOC.
While noting that it was the first time such inauguration was done very early, Olaniyan said the association expects the best from the committees.
Olaniyan said the association’s National Executive Council (EXCO) chose from the finest of the MULAN members to act in both committees.
Also speaking, Adetunbi, noted that “the essence of our creation is to worship Allah and therefore, it becomes incumbent on us all to strive our utmost to serve him wholeheartedly.”
The CPC Chairman accepted the responsibility on behalf of himself and members of his committee.
