It was a scary scene on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, when well-known businessman, Mr. Adetunji Amoo Sulaiman, was reportedly kidnapped while checking on his farm.
According to eyewitnesses, he had gone for a routine inspection when a group of suspected herdsmen showed up and took him away.
People around said the attackers came prepared, armed and moved so fast that there was little anyone could do. They overpowered every form of security on the farm and disappeared without leaving a clue.
Right now, Sulaiman’s family is in deep distress.
One family member said: “We are very worried; we have no idea where he is. All we can do is pray and hope he comes back safely.”
They asked for public support, urging the government to step in quickly.
This sad event has once again highlighted how unsafe many rural communities and farmlands have become. Residents are living in fear as these kinds of attacks keep happening. Many are calling on security agencies to act fast before things get worse.
At the moment, there’s still no news on Sulaiman’s whereabouts.
