    The African Creators Summit 2025 has unveiled entertainers Real Warri Pikin and Nedu as the official hosts for its highly anticipated second edition. 

    Set to take place on January 23–24, 2025, at the Balmoral Event Centre, Lagos, the summit promises to bring together Africa’s brightest creators, industry leaders, and innovators for two days of insightful conversations and cultural celebration.

    Anita Asuoha, popularly known as Real Warri Pikin, is one of Nigeria’s most celebrated female comedians and entertainers, renowned for her humor and vibrant personality. Nedu, a multifaceted radio personality, actor, and comedian, is widely recognized for his popular podcast, The Honest Bunch.

    “Both Nedu and Real Warri Pikin are exceptional talents who understand how to entertain while engaging audiences meaningfully,” said Olufemi Oguntamu, a member of the summit’s advisory board. “Their chemistry, sharp humor, and years of experience make them the perfect pair to guide conversations, foster connections, and ensure the summit is both impactful and enjoyable.”

    The African Creators Summit, themed “Building a Sustainable Ecosystem: Content as a Tool,” is more than just an event—it is a platform for innovation, collaboration, and empowerment. Africa’s creative industry, valued at over $4 billion annually, is a vital driver of economic growth and job creation across the continent. The summit aims to explore the transformative power of content in driving growth across various industries and amplifying African voices on a global stage.

    The two-day event will kick off with discussions on how content can impact various industries and also celebrate Africa’s rich culture and offer an opportunity for key influencers and industry leaders to connect and network.

    Reflecting on last year’s success, which brought together over 1,000 attendees, the 2025 edition is poised to amplify these conversations, strengthen connections, and shape the future of Africa’s creative ecosystem.

    African creators summit returns with second edition

    Africa’s creative industry is set to converge once again as the African Creators Summit returns on January 23–24, 2025. This year, the two-day summit, themed “Building a Sustainable Ecosystem: Content as a Tool”, will focus on how content can transform industries and drive innovation.

    Following the success of the inaugural event in 2024, which drew over 1,000 creative from across the continent; the 2025 edition aims to engage even more industry leaders and creators. The summit will feature thought-provoking conversations and collaborations designed to explore how the creative industry can fuel growth and empower other sectors.

    Day one will explore how content can be used to educate people in various fields, with experts from education, healthcare, finance, and media sharing their insights with content creators. 

    A major highlight will be a fashion show, where top digital creators will team up with ten talented Nigerian designers to showcase the power of fashion and content together. 

    This unique collaboration aims to drive innovation, amplify African creativity worldwide, and celebrate African craftsmanship. The process will be documented, and the creators will compete for a cash prize.

    On day two, themed “The Feast”, will celebrate African culture, with traditional African attire as the dress code. This segment will be focused at creating an opportunity for influencers and top prospects to dine and connect in one hub. Also to raise important questions that allows for progress and insights.

    Reflecting on the summit’s impact, organizer Oladapo ‘OJ’ Adewunmi shared, “The African Creators Summit is about fostering collaboration and innovation. Last year, we saw how conversations sparked ideas and connections that are still driving change today. 

    This year, we’re not just talking about content as a tool—we’re showing how it can transform industries, from fashion to education, and build a more sustainable creative ecosystem for Africa.”
