Amara The Star, an up-and-coming music artist, has expressed her frustration over the stringent requirements set by a talent scout before she can be considered for a contract.
The artist recently shared an email she received from the scout, which essentially demands that Amara become an influencer before getting signed.
The email read: “Hope this email finds you well. My name is Jennifer A., and I am a Talent Scout. We recently discovered your incredibly unique music through your latest release ‘STAR,’ and your blend of African roots with American influences has truly impressed us.”

“However, as the music industry evolves, we require artists to have a strong digital presence. To move forward with signing you, we need to see at least 50,000 active followers on Instagram and TikTok, as well as a minimum of 75,000 streams across various streaming platforms.”
“These numbers help us ensure that our artists have a strong foundation and dedicated fan base.”
