    House of Rep aspirant commiserates with Ago-Are fire victims 

    An House of Representatives aspirant Otunba Niyi Adekola has commiserated with the Aare of Ago-Are, Oba (Dr.) Abodunri Kofoworola Olakanla II, market leaders and traders affected by the fire incident that gutted Kara market in Ago-Are in Atisbo local government of Oyo State. 

    A statement by the philanthropist-cum-politician described the fire incident as a tragedy of magnitude that will definitely have a devastating impact on the feelings and livelihood of the victims.

    Adekola said: “With a heart heavy with sadness, I have been briefed about the fire incident at the Kara market in Ago-Are. Since then, I have found it difficult to come to terms with the enormity of the damaging impacts caused to the victims.”

    The 2027 House of Representatives aspirant for Atisbo/Saki West/Saki East Federal Constituency urged all affected traders and stakeholders to accept the incident as a reality that cannot be undone, even though it remains essential to investigate the cause to avoid such incidents in the future.

    “Incidents of this tragic nature, as unfortunate as they are, are sometimes harsh realities that are difficult to believe. However, it is crucial to investigate the cause to prevent recurrence in the future.”

    Adekola called on all relevant stakeholders to offer possible support within their reach to alleviate the resultant pains of the incident on the victims.

    He said although this is a transitional season from the dry season to the rainy season,  people must remain sensitive to any actions or inactions that may result in fire accidents at all times.

    He prayed that the Almighty God to easy the agony of all affected victims.
