It is as if the good times never ended for the fun-loving dude as he regularly hosts A-list guests in his night club.

    It will be recalled that no sooner had the Delta-born Ahmed landed on the Lagos social scene than he became the darling of high society, with his 11:45 night club the watering hole of choice for the fun-loving crowd. That was until some issues surfaced and drove him out of business, forcing him to lie low as he picked up the pieces of his shattered dreams.

    But all that is now in the past for Ahmed, as he is having a swell time on the fast lane in Atlanta. Those who abandoned him like bad business when he was going through tough times are now full of regrets as Ahmed is raking in big bucks from his Atlanta club.

    As the story goes, after some years of struggle in America, he regained his old form in the newest dimension. His magical comeback was surely unprecedented as he is now said to own one of the best and most attractive club houses in Atlanta.

    Popular socialite and owner of the defunct 11:45 night club, Ahmed Uwhubetine, whose absence from the Lagos social scene has been sending tongues wagging for some time, sources revealed, has relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

    Uwhubetine, a lawyer and an Urhobo (from Ughelli North, Delta State), at some point, was behind all the hottest and snazziest night clubs that you can think of from 11:45 to Tribecca. Before one could say, Jack! his patronage dwindled and he teamed up with another socialite, the late Akeem Shodeinde, to establish Reloaded nightclub. It was rumoured that Ahmed suffered serious financial losses while running the new nightclub and eventually had to abandon the project like he did 11:45 nightclub.

    Although there had been news making the rounds that his absence is a strategy to reposition and rebrand, sources close to him said he will bounce back with time.

    But just when Uwhubetine ought to be consolidating on his initial success, his magic touch appeared to fizzle out and patronage dwindled. He subsequently teamed up with another heavyweight in the entertainment sector, Akeem Shodeinde, and together they established Reloaded Night Club, which unfortunately had to be shut down after a year.

    There were rumours to the effect that Uwhubetine ran into financial difficulties and had to abandon the project like he did 11.45 Night Club. Another version said his absence from the Lagos social scene was a strategic move to reposition and rebrand. Be it as it may, the entertainment entrepreneur is conspicuously missing from the social scene.

    His customised cars have disappeared from Lagos’ streets and he is no longer the toast of the Lagos party crowd.
