Al-Mu’minaat (The believing Women), Alimosho Zone has partnered with Muslim Women Entrepreneurship to educate its members on how to run a successful business.
At the maiden Muslimah Connect Business Exhibition, the group urged members to always network and connects with people in the same line of their businesses for exposure and growth.
The guest lecturer, Alhaji Jamiu Ajala, urged all Muslim Women to discover their talents and use it to annex opportunities.
He encouraged the women to follow the trends especially in the technology sector as it is driving every aspect of the world.
He urged the women in business to conform to the use of technology in operating their businesses. He added that using social media in advertising and promoting your business will attract wide patronage.
He highlighted the benefits of using technology in business which includes fast accessibility, effective outcome and a bridge between space and time.
He advised the women to learn the techniques on how to establish a trade that would earn them enough profits.
He also stated that adopting technology will make one’s business secured and create a room for healthy competition among traders.

The second lecturer, Rofiat Akinyemi takes the women through importance of Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) registration, record keeping, annual return filling and partnership in business.
According to her, these are all requirements to be considered for a long term and effective business.
She highlighted the importance of registering and insuring one’s business.
Akinyemi advised the members to have a rigid rules and regulations before establishing a partnership business.
The Head of Entrepreneur, Alimosho Zone, Hajia Naimot Abdul-Hameed, said the programme was organized with the mindset of enlightening the members on what business entails.
She stated that the programme was an eye opener and urged Muslim women to patronize one another to promote and foster good relationship.
