The Alapere pedestrian bridge on the Third Axial Road, Lagos State, was reopened yesterday.
Special Adviser to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Infrastructure, Olufemi Daramola, said Governor Sanwo-Olu gave the directive to open the bridge because the government places a premium on safety.
Daramola hailed the governor, describing the gesture as responsive and timely. He also urged the people to appropriate the gesture.
