    Serena Williams loves being mum of her daughter Olympia. On September 1 the little girl turned 1 and on November 16 she celebrated the first anniversary of her marriage to Alexis Ohanian.

    Speaking to GQ Magazine on Olympia, Serena said: ‘We do everything together. “I love everything about being a mom.

    The only thing I don’t love about being a mom is by 7:30, Olympia’s in bed and I get sad. I’m like, ‘Should I go to bed?’

    Because then if I wake up, I get to see her again.’ Serena also added: ‘I’m keeping a lot of her clothes.

    “And then, when she gets a little older, we’re going to go over to the foster care and give them away.’ The former world No.1 finally referred to the time when there was no prize money in tennis, like when Althea Gibson won the 1957 and 1958 US Open. “That was awful. But that was for her generation, and she bore the burden for someone like me. I have it way better than she does. And then I’m bearing the burden for the next generation, and they’re going to have its way, way better than I do.’ Serena is extremely professional in every aspect, eating as well, but she sometimes makes exceptions: ‘I did buy myself a cake the other day.

    “I never have cake. I went to bed thinking I want a cake, and I want, like, a decorated cake. I felt really happy to have that cake and eat it.”

    It is yet to be seen what else will dominate the headlines come Thursday as American tennis star and

    multiple Grand Slam winner Serena Williams ties the knot with Reddit co-founder fiancé Alexis Ohanian.

    The event is said to be costing more than $1 million to stage and is being organized by celebrity wedding planner Preston Bailey.

    Attendees to the mother of all weddings will not be allowed to use their phones for photographs as exclusive contract has been sealed with Vogue editior Anna Wintour to run the photos.

    The wedding is coming just 11 weeks after the 36 year old gave birth to their daughter Alexis Olympia

    The wedding is being held amid such secrecy that the guests have been informed only of the city where it will be held but not yet the venue.

    An insider however informed DailyMail.com that the couple, who met in 2015, will tie the knot in front of some of America’s biggest names at the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans, including Beyoncé, Jay Z and Kris Jenner.

    Among the guests could be Prince Harry’s girlfriend, Meghan Markle. The American actress, who finishes shooting legal drama Suits this week for the final time, has been a friend of Serena’s since 2014 and gushed earlier this year: ‘We are both the same age, have a penchant for hot sauces, and adore fashion, but what connects us more than those things is perhaps our belief in exceeding expectations – our endless ambition.’

    The star-studded wedding guest list includes Desperate Housewives actress Eva Longoria and the pop singers Kelly Rowland and Ciara.

    The source says: ‘They have hired the best of the best and can’t wait to get married in The Big Easy. It’s a special city for Serena and somewhere she has always loved.

    Nigeria, Cameroon matches dominate Google

    Nigeria’s 4-0 first leg win over Cameroon in the ongoing World Cup Qualifiers, dominated searches this week on Google.

    Google’s spokesman Mr Taiwo Kola-Ogunlade made the announcement in a dispatch to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Lagos.

    According to Kola-Ogunlade, this week’s top trending search terms on Google range from sports to celebrity news.

    He said that sports-loving Nigerians got excited over the Eagles’ performance against their counterparts in the qualifiers.

    The Eagles are now leading their group with 10 points from matches played so far.

    “Their 4-0 win over Cameroon on Friday and 1-1 draw by the Lions of Cameroon on Monday has gotten fans, sport experts, coaches and speculators predicting that the Super Eagles might qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

    “Excited fans raced to Google search to get more details about upcoming matches for the qualifiers.”

    Kola-Ogunlade said that the American professional tennis player, Serena Williams, who was reported to have given birth to a baby girl on Sep. 1 also attracted searches on Google.

    He said that the announcement of Serena’s first child with fiancé, Alexis Ohanian, was made by reporter Chris Shepherd via Twitter.

    “Though the couple have not officially announced the birth, the tennis star’s fans and celebrity friends have since taken to Google to share their congratulatory messages.”

    The Google manager said that concerned Nigerians also searched Google to read more about the distressing news of the North Korea missile test.

    “North Korean President Kim Jong-un was pictured during yet another round of nuclear missiles testing over the weekend.

    “The images have sparked tension in South Korea, the U.S. and Europe.

    “Han Tae Song, the Ambassador of North Korea to the UN, the North Korean Supreme Leader vowed to send more “gift packages” to the U.S.,” said Kola-Ogunlade

    The Google image maker said that American singer, songwriter and actress Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, turned 36 on Sept. 4.

    “The pop star celebrated her birthday in spectacular fashion by starting an awareness campaign to support hurricane relief efforts in her hometown, Houston.

    “Beyoncé, wearing one of the iconic outfits from her “Formation” video, shared images of her friends and family on her website.

    “Beneath the images was a message and link asking fans to support the Hurricane Harvey disaster relief efforts.

    “While Nigerian Beyhive’s congratulated and commended the singer for the effort, others criticised her, which made Nigerians interested in the debate go to Google to get the full gist.”

    Google Trends launched in May, 2006, allows one to see how popular, search terms and its demography have been over time on the search engine.

    Tennis legend Serena Williams, welcomed her first child, a baby girl, with fiancé and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, in Florida on Friday.

    According to New York Daily News; “Tennis star Serena Williams gives birth to a baby girl weighing 6 pounds, 13 ounces. Mom and baby doing well.”

    “Obviously, I’m super excited,” Serena’s big sis, Venus Williams, told ESPN shortly before her match at the US Open on Friday afternoon. “Words can’t describe.”

    After the news broke, pal Beyoncé, who recently welcomed twins, offered up her well wishes to the pro athlete, posting on Instagram, “Congratulations Serena!”

    Prior to their daughter’s arrival, the couple insisted they didn’t know the sex, though Ohanian said he suspected it would be a girl — and Venus referred to the unborn child as “she” and “her.”

    Williams, 35, previously said that despite “not being a baby person,” giving birth would make her feel like a “real woman.”

    The 22-time Grand Slam champion made the announcement on Wednesday on Snap-chat where she showed off her pregnant belly in a profile pic of herself holding up her phone to a mirror in a one-piece swimsuit captioned, “20 weeks.”

    The veteran athlete has been engaged to Alexis Ohanian,33, since December 2016

    “It feels good,’ she said of the engagement in January.

    “I really haven’t thought about it too much because I wasn’t even really gonna think about it until after the tournament.
