    AMAN gathers for 30th anniversary, awards

    The Artiste Managers Association in Nigeria (AMAN) will on Wednesday gather in Lagos to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the association.

    The event will be held at the Grand Ballroom of Eko Hotels and suites, VI, Lagos. Nigeria creatives and artiste managers, as well as their international counterparts will converge for the 2025

    According to a statement by the association, the red carpet begins at 5pm, while the event starts at 7pm.

    The Artiste Managers Association in Nigeria (AMAN) is the body of creatives and artiste managers overseeing the welfare of their artistes including actors, musicians and other creative endeavours, and giving its members a pride of place in the gamut of the entertainment industry.

    Already, the state of excellence is abuzz with the arrival of hundreds of AMAN members and distinguished guests from within Nigeria and in the diaspora.

    By the way, this year’s AWARDS is the second award ceremony organised by the Artiste Managers Association in Nigeria (AMAN) “to publicly recognize, reward and celebrate excellence within the creative industries in Nigeria, Africa and beyond,” the statement said.

    The first edition of the awards was in 2023 and held at the Fantasia Hall of Eko Hotels.

    Artiste Managers Association in Nigeria (AMAN) countdown to its 2025 award event reached a crescendo with plans to unveil its 2025 award winners soon.

    The AMAN Awards was birthed to publicly recognise, reward and celebrate excellence within the creative industry in Nigeria, Africa and beyond.

    AMAN awards event will be held November 26, 2025 at The Grand Ballroom of Eko Hotels and suites Victoria Island Lagos.

    Speaking after a meeting of the AMAN Awards 2025 Organising Committee, President of AMAN, Mr. Collins Ifeanyi Onwuneme Enebeli Ajereh a.k.a. Mavin Grandpa Worldwide (MGW) said the list of awardees had been compiled and will be announced after ratification.

    AMAN president noted that AMAN Awards 2025 would build on the successes of the 2023 maiden edition.

    He also used the opportunity to reiterate the mission and vision of AMAN in unifying all artistes managers and other fronts men who work assiduously towards the growth and development of Nigerian creative industry ecosystem.

    According to Enebeli, AMAN is over 30 years old and continues to be relevant in Nigeria’s creative industry space.

    AMAN president emphasised that music, entertainment, movies and creative industry endeavours contributes so much to Nigeria’s GDP and artistes managers are instrumental to this huge investment into Nigeria’s economy.

    AMAN Awards to promote creativity

    The Artists Managers Association in Nigeria (AMAN) is poised to promote the creative industry with AMAN Awards, which is billed for November 26, at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

     The Awards, according to organisers, is to recognise and celebrate excellence in the creative space in Nigeria.

    The group was set up to manage, improve and promote artistes’ welfare.

     In a statement, its President, Collins Ajereh Enebeli (Mavin Grandpa), said AMAN was registered in 1995 with the sole aim of furthering the interests of creative minds.

     According to him: “The objective is to recognise, reward and celebrate the key players in the Nigerian creative industries for their numerous contributions towards the development and growth of the creative industries in Nigeria.’’

     Collins went on: “It is to restore the confidence, dignity and interest of our young creatives who have the challenge of being influenced wrongly by western culture which is trying to erode their value for local contents. It will encourage and recognise those creating real African stories in beautiful colours.
