Former Ivory Coast national team manager Herve Renard was also in attendance on Thursday

Tiote suffered a suspected heart attack on June 5 during a training session with his club Beijing Enterprises and later passed away.

There was a memorial service for him held in Beijing on Tuesday which was attended by his ex-Newcastle team-mate Papiss Cisse, who plays in China with Shandong Luneng.

‘I lived some extraordinary moments with this man and today he’s gone,’ said Cisse at the service as he fought back tears.

Beijing Enterprises players were also present at that service as they paid their respects to Tiote, who joined them from Newcastle in February.

Sportsmail revealed earlier this week that Beijing Enterprises had no emergency cardiac equipment at their training base which which to treat him.

And Manchester United legend Andy Cole questioned whether more can be done to protect players who suffer from heart problems.

‘If someone is only 30 and they pass away, the question that is naturally going to be asked is ‘Why? What’s gone on there? Why has he passed away so early?’, Cole said to BBC Radio Five Live.

‘It’s a strange one. Cheick Tiote hadn’t been in China that long – a few months – so he must have had a medical to complete the transfer. Was nothing picked up in that medical?

‘Is anything actually being done? Is it being looked into? We need to nail it down and get to the bottom of why and what it is.

The proposed Anderlecht offer will be for four and half seasons with a guaranteed minimum salary of 100,000 Euros a year.

This could be raised to as much as 350,000 Euros gross should be start up to 30 official matches for the club.

It is broken into three parts. The first part has a cash offer of a million Euros – the club will pay 250,000 Euros when Osimhen signs the contract. He will get another 250,000 Euros at the start of the 2016/17 season in Belgium, which will be July 1, 2016. And the big pay day will be on his 18th birthday on December 29, 2016, when he will receive 500,000 Euros.

Zaharaddeen Bello on Anderlecht, AIK’s radars

The bonafide agent of Nigeria Under-20 international, Zaharaddeen Bello, has distanced himself from reports in the foreign press linking his client with a move to the Championnat de France, with Marseille, OGC Nice and Rennes all credited with an interest.

Babawo Mohammed, better known as the representative of Tottenham Hotspur starlet Musa Yahaya, has revealed that he has had no contact whatsoever with French, English and Spanish clubs.

The Jos-based agent was forced to let the cat out of the bag, after revealing that he is holding high – level talks with Belgian powerhouse RSC Anderlecht and AIK Stockholm regarding a transfer.

”I and Zaharaddeen Bello have not had any contact with Marseille or any French team, it is not true that they want him,” said Babawo Mohammed to SL10.ng.

”I am only discussing with Anderlecht and AIK Stockholm, who want him to attend trials.

”Bello has improved tremendously. He was one of the most consistent players at the African Youth Championship.

”He was the livewire of the Flying Eagles in defense, and played in all their matches in Senegal. He is now ripe enough to move to Europe.”

Because Zaharaddeen Bello is still a minor, he cannot sign a professional contract with any club until he clocks 18 on December 21, 2015.
