    2027: APC Oshodi leaders inaugurate Tinubu Lagos ambassadors special executive 

    Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government have inaugurated the Tinubu Lagos State Ambassadors (AATLSA) special executive council in preparation for the 2027 elections.

    The Director-General of AATLSA, Chief Rasak Fasesan, unveiled the 80-member team during a meeting of The Mandate Movement (TMM), a political caucus within the APC in Lagos.

    Speaking at the event, tagged Tinubu Agenda 2027, Fasesan, who also serves as the Babaloja General of Oshodi-Isolo LGA, emphasized that the initiative aimed to strengthen the party’s grassroots mobilization ahead of the upcoming council elections and President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 bid.

    Fasesan, popularly known as Ajanaku Alakoso, stressed the importance of leaving no stone unturned in rallying both old and new party members. 

    He noted that the newly inaugurated special exco comprises representatives from all wards in the local government.

    APC Apex Leader, Chief Dele Ogunshakin, also addressed the gathering, stating that the meeting was a strategic move to re-engage party members who had been inadvertently sidelined.

    Ogunshakin said: “This is a forum for leaders to harness them, bring them together and give them a sense of belonging.

    “It’s a way to mobilise the party for the coming election. Some people are looking at 2027 as if it is far away but once you sleep and wake up, 2027 is closer.

    “Yes, the last election for the presidential was not all that good enough but I can assure you and reassure you that all those tracks have been mended and all those blocks have been reset.”

    Corroborating, Hon. Olusola Sokunle, a former members of the Lagos State House of Assembly, who represented Oshodi-Isolo Constituency I between 2015 and 2023, said that the Mandate Movement would not give anything to change in the area.

    “This is one of our packages. We must reset APC in Oshodi-Isolo. We want to bring in a lot of people into the fold and into the system by introducing special exco.

    “This is just to make the party to be of special interest to people. We must prepare for the next coming election.

    “This party and inauguration has shown we are more prepared for Asiwaju second term in office as President.

    “This is Mandate, group- the TMM. We have a lot of prominent people in attendance in this programme,” Sokunke said.

    The event was attended by hundreds of party leaders and members in Oshodi-Isolo LGA including market leaders and community leaders.

    The members were dressed in Ankara uniform for the party and were thrilled till late evening by musical bands.
