Properties worth millions of naira have been destroyed as fire gutted the Araromi spare parts market, Agodi-Gate in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
The Nation gathered that the fire reportedly started around 2 a.m.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, as investigations are ongoing.

This incident occurred less than 12 hours after another tragic fire claimed the lives of a man, his wife, and their grandson in a storey building in the Ori-Eru area of Idikan, Ibadan.
The General Manager of the Oyo State Fire Services Agency, Yemi Akinyinka confirmed the earlier incident in a statement.
He said that the agency received a distress call about the fire at approximately 3:46 p.m.
He however said efforts are ongoing to determine the cause of both fires and prevent further tragedies in the city.
