The quarterfinals of the Pastor Umo Eno Easter U-16 Unity Cup, popularly known as the Arise Cup, delivered a thrilling day of football marked by dramatic finishes, nerve-racking penalty shootouts, and heroic performances that kept fans on the edge of their seats.

At the centre of the  Saturday’s drama was the clash between De Ark FA and Onna LG, which ended 2-2 after a pulsating full-time contest. With neither side able to find a winner in regular time, the match was decided on penalties. In a tense shootout that showcased the mental strength of both teams, De Ark FA eventually triumphed 7-6, booking their place in the semi-finals.

The tension was just as high in the encounter between Algon Boys and Redemption FA. After a cagey 0-0 draw at full time, the two sides headed for penalties, where Redemption FA held their nerve to secure a 5-4 victory, edging closer to a shot at the title.

In another quarterfinal match, Pillar Sports proved more clinical, narrowly defeating Mkpat Enin LG 1-0. Their disciplined approach and tactical focus allowed them to capitalize on one of the few clear chances of the game, sealing a deserved win.

Meanwhile, Miracle Soccer Academy continued their impressive run in the tournament by defeating Dynamic SPMD 1-0. A lone goal in a closely contested fixture was enough to send Miracle Soccer into the last four, keeping their dreams of lifting the coveted trophy alive.

With the semi-finals now set, the competition grows fiercer, and the Arise Cup continues to unearth young talents who embody the spirit of unity, resilience, and sporting excellence envisioned by His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno.

Meanwhile, the semi-final has Pillar Sports FA versus Miracle Soccer while  De Ark  will face off against Redemption Academy.

The third day of the 4^th  Edition of Pastor Umo Eno Easter U-16 Unity Cup, popularly known as the Arise Cup, delivered another round of electrifying football across two vibrant centres—4 Town Secondary School and QIC Itam. The young talents on display did not disappoint, as each match brought its own share of suspense, skill, and spirited competition on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.

At the 4 Town Secondary School centre, Ndito Charles FC kicked off the day with a confident 2-0 victory over Macito FC. Their attacking flair and clinical finishing left their opponents struggling to find rhythm. It was a solid display from a team determined to leave a mark in this year’s edition.

Memories FC and Redemption FC followed with a tense encounter that ended in a goalless draw. While neither side could find the back of the net, the match was anything but interesting. Both goalkeepers pulled off incredible saves, and the midfield battle kept fans engaged throughout.

In one of the tightest fixtures of the day, Onna FC managed to snatch a narrow 1-0 win over Future Great Stars FC. It was a physical match with both sides pressing hard, but Onna FC’s composure in front of goal proved the difference.

Dynamic FC continued their rise with a second straight win, overcoming Memories FC 1-0. The team played with discipline and confidence, executing their game plan with precision. Their winning momentum now makes them one of the teams to watch as the competition intensifies.

Pillars Sport FC closed the day at the 4 Town centre with a dramatic 2-1 win over Ndito Charles FC. It was a match filled with tension and brilliant moments, as both teams gave their all. Pillars Sport FC showed resilience and hunger, overturning an early scare to seal the win.

Meanwhile, at the QIC Itam centre, Algon Boys FC edged Miracle Soccer FC 1-0 in a tightly contested game. A late goal sparked celebrations in the stands, as Algon Boys FC kept their qualification hopes alive with a gritty performance.

Pillars FA also impressed, defeating Ndito Charles FC 2-1. The match was fiercely contested with plenty of end-to-end action later in the day. Elsewhere, Immortality FC and De Ark FC ended their clash 1-1, with both teams showing flashes of brilliance but unable to pull away.

Solo Wonders FC fell 2-1 to a determined Atisan FC side, who capitalized on their chances with sharp attacking play. KMK FC, however, delivered the most dominant performance of the day, thrashing Oruk Anam FC 3-0 in a show of strength and organization.

The last two fixtures saw De Ark FC and Mkpat Enin FC cancel each other out in a goalless draw, while Dynamic FC continued their impressive form with a 1-0 win over Memories FC. As the tournament heats up, the passion, talent, and energy on display promise more unforgettable moments in the days to come.
