Kingsley Madu and Daddy Moses Simon have signed for Slovakian top flight club, AS Trencin.

Both players, who represented Nigeria during the 2013 FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Turkey, penned three-year contracts each with AS Trencin.

Madu and Simon have already started training with the Slovakian outfit.

Former El-Kanemi Warriors defender, Madu, has already described his new teammates as “excellent” and says they are already settling down at the Stadion na Sihoti, home ground of AS Trencin.

He also recalled his Under-20 World Cup experience while talking to AS Trencin’s official website and hopes that chapter in football career will help him at the club.

“The teammates are excellent. We feel almost like home. It was a great experience from which I want to draw. It’s a pity that we could not go on,” said Madu.

On the other hand, Simon is already relishing the chance of playing for AS Trencin but knows he will have to work hard to make Martin Sevela’s team.

“My goal is to help the club achieve its ambitions. I prefer to win the league, but it is still very far away. First, we need to carve out a place in the team. The guys are great, very friendly. Similarly, I am impressed with the approach of the coaches,” Simon, who was close to joining Ajax Amsterdam last year, also said to AS Trencin’s official website.

Madu has been handed squad number 29 while Simon will wear jersey number 11 for the club.
